20th April 2011 Crosstrees Chalet was the perfect, romantic place to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. The views were spectacular, the luxurious Chalet so romantic, and the remote location just what we wanted. We were in New Zealand for two months and this was our favorite accommodation and Waiheke Island our favorite place to explore.
The well-equipped accommodation has all the facilities you need for an enjoyable holiday including a spacious bathroom with a spa bath overlooking the view.
The modern cottage in peaceful surroundings is completely self-contained with kitchenette (including dishwasher and microwave oven), laundry facilities, television, stereo and surround sound system.
Are you interested in nature walks, art, wine or olives? Local activities within walking distance include the Te Whau Loop (a coastal walkway via Hitapa Bay to Kauakarau Bay), Te Whau Garden and Gallery, Te Whau Vineyard Caf and the newly opened Azzuro Groves. Swim at high tide and explore the rock pools at low tide. CrossTrees is centrally located and only a short drive from the supermarket, Whakanewha Regional Park and the famous Saturday market. Enjoy all the island has to offer or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings.
