Red Cross House, 59 Gala Street, Avenal, Invercargill City, Invercargill
We are general practitioners which means we deal with any problems our clients have. These days most lawyers specialise which has the downside of not being able to see the wider legal consequences of decisions.
We avoid that as much as possible by ensuring our clients know all of us and feel comfortable asking for general advice. Andrew deals with court work, ACC, and employment law. All three of us advise on family law including divorce and relationship property. Paul and Winston concentrate on home sales and purchases, farms, and trusts.
Beyond that, we advise on wills, estates, family claims, business purchases, leases, mortgages,. The list of legal matters which arise in life can be wide-ranging.
Robin and Diane are the mainstays of our office and are a vital part of our firm. Their friendly efficency on the phone and with office administration makes clients feel welcomed and looked after.
Ultimately we are a growing firm going against the trend. Paul Menzies started on his own in the rural town of Winton in 1983. At that time and even more so today, banks, accountants, lawyers etc have moved away from regional towns and expected their customers to come to their offices in the cities.
That has been good for us and our clients because we have taken the opposite course and been supported by the community. Paul was joined by Winston Forrest as a partner in 1987 and more recently Andrew Marshall also joined as a partner.
So we are a 3 partner firm of solicitors in Central Southland and continuing to grow which suggests we are doing something right. Come and see us.
