24th February 2012 best thai food on the shore no doubt! we tried Pad Thai prawn, green curry chicken, and chicken cashew nut which my dad loved so much. very nice enviroment, two girls in front were very nice and friendly too. sure we will go back again. A+++ Recommend

29th January 2012 we went there on a Friday night, the place was quite empty wich we found quite surprising. We ordered a deep fried snapper, which was the best dish of the night, the sweet and sour prawns was only ok, the sauce was not like thai sweet & sour sauce at all. The Thai basil scallops portion was quite small though, overall food was average, place was average but service was ok.

24th December 2010 Outstanding restaurant. Easily the best Thai around. The portions are great, the flavours are soooo good. So much taste. You really notice the difference between Orchid Thai and other restaurants. The flavours are so much more vivid. Great value for money, good service. Totally recommend.

18th November 2010 Read the review and tried the flaming chicken, it is interesting as it was flaming when served, but the chicken flesh a bit on the dry side. The beef on the hot plate was on the expensive side, a little child could count the number of thin slices without trouble and it's the thinnest beef I've ever had. The pineapple rice has good flavor and is not bad but if there's pork or chicken floss on top would be excellent. The best dish was the whole fish fried and we all enjoyed the salad too. Overall, the food is not bad, service and the atmosphere good, portion a little disappointing, price on the high side.

12th October 2010 Our favourite local Thai Restaurant. We're never disappointed and our friends are always impressed by the food.
The Thai green curry is so delicious but I have trouble choosing, as all the dishes are delicious! My partner loves the Whole Flaming Chicken; it never fails to impress a novice diner when delivered to the table.
The flavour is amazing and there is enough to satisfy the largest of appetite.
I recommend Orchid Thai to everyone. My kids just love it too. We think it's an excellent value, excellent quality night out, especially when you can BYO.
