The new owners, Warren and Fiona Grayson, have a passion for Papakura, having lived, worked or been educated in the region for over 35 years.
The One Red Chilli team in a short time have succeeded in upgrading the previously B grade coffee shop into an A grade piece of Ponsonby in Papakura.
This is not surprising given Fiona's background. She has been trained in top establishments, working alongside top international chefs, then setting up and managing a number of successful restaurants and bars.
All staff are highly trained in their positions. All coffee makers have been comprehensively trained by a top New Zealand barista to create coffees that offer not just refreshment but an overall experience. Warren and Fiona Grayson encourage their team to strive to reach high standards both personally and professionally, and support them 100 per cent.

With a sumptuous deli and an exclusive coffee produced by a gold medal winning coffee blender, One Red Chilli also offers a breakfast and lunch menu - aimed at meeting as many special dietary requirements as possible i.e. gluten free options, heart friendly and low glycaemic index as well as being kind on the hips.
All of their food is freshly made on premises, with ingredients proudly sourced locally to further promote the quality of products from the Papakura and surrounding areas, and support grassroots business.
