22nd February 2012 We bought our son goalie gloves for Christmas that within 1 hour the seam came apart. We took them back to the shop we purchased them from, to be told... oh it looks like they have been used for longer so not sure if Puma will refund. Got a phone call today from the shop to say Puma had decided to refund only half the cost of the gloves, as suggested by the shop! What happened to the Consumer Guarantees Act? We believe the Product is not fit for purpose and it was poor workmanship on the gloves. They were only $25 but were NOT used for any games and didn't even last one day! Surely the least Puma can do is refund the entire $25!! Both our boys are big sportsmen, playing in Reps for cricket and Football, maybe a look at your systems for something like this would be good, considering Puma made a profit of $3 billon last year!
