The Island Water Taxi is moored in the Russell and offers successful ligh tackle fishing charters to small groups in the Bay of Islands.
A keen fisherman always. Terry has been taking people out fishing in the Bay for 20 years and still loves what he does. To ensure success Terry only fishes small groups, never more than four people. He specialises in sole charters. providing it does not exceed four persons.
What You Can Expect On Your Trip
You will in most cases, expect to have an early start.
You will be provided with good quality bait and tackle.
You can have your bait put on for you if that's what you want.
You need to bring suntan lotion and something to drink.
You will have your fish prepared, filleted, and ready to cook.

Snapper fishing - $400 (4 to 5 hrs)
King fishing - $650 (6hrs - usually Cape Brett area)
Salt Water Fly-fishing - $650 (6 hrs- Cape Brett area)
