6th April 2015 I bought a pair of $50 Croc jandals which then delaminated and also shrunk in size. I took them back after 6 months to get them replaced only to be told " in my opinion jandals should only last about 3 to 6 months" I said what about the consumers guarantee act, as they should be fit for purpose for 12 months. "Oh no my friend" he said. After arguing for ages and asking for his suppliers details, he finally contacted his supplier who had no problems replacing them, but the shop owner refused to replace them from his stock, so I had to leave the shop barefooted, only to return 2 weeks later to collect the replacement jandals. The replacement jandals were then a different colour which the shop owner couldn't see as a problem. If I wanted brown Crocs I would have bought brown Crocs. My advise is stick to the main retail outlets as they generally honour your rights as a consumer without having to argue the facts with them. This is the thanks I get in trying to support the local Papakura shops. Never again "my friend".
