The cottages at Wharepuke are tucked away in stunning gardens filled with subtropical trees that you probably won't see elsewhere. The eco cottages are surprisingly spacious and well appointed with paintings by resident artist Mark Graver who also runs non toxic printmaking courses onsite. The private cottages have their deck looking over the garden where you can watch the numerous birds and Matai the friendly Jack Russell comes with a stick. Great quiet location only 1 km from the Kerikeri town centre (great shopping/food/wineries. Easily walk down to the Stone Store NZ's first place of contact between the Maori and the European.
