26th February 2009 My mother Aileen Taylor was a resident at Komatua Care Rest Home for approx. 10 years. She had early onset Alzeimers. During her time there I visited her weekly and later on fortnightly. During her time there myself along with my family could not fault this rest home. It had a beautiful family atmosphere and their priority was the welfare of the residents at all times.
There is only a small number of residents and each resident had one on one attention. The wonderful caring family who worked at Komatua Care deserve not 5 but 10 stars for their care and attention. During the time my mum was passing we were welcome to stay for approx a week and made feel so welcome. Their love and caring was very genuine and we were very grateful for the great care our mum received during her years at Komatua Care. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this rest home.
