I needed the RAM of my Fujitsu laptop to be increased to 2 gig. Salesman dealt with me as I waited. He tried various combinations before concluding the it would not take generic RAM. He ordered genuine RAM from Fujitsu. Cost for his time ? ZERO !!!

I recently took a hard drive in to Quay Computers to get the data extracted, as it had been playing up. They told me that the hard drive was completely dead and unrecoverable -- and referred to it as a "door stop". I took the hard drive to a friend for a second opinion and he fixed it within minutes.
Do not use this business.

I've recently bought a computer system at this place, and so far the experience has been mixed...a bit of a roller-coaster ride. There is one staff member in the service department who is socially handicapped. His rudeness on the phone when I called with a question (a mere 5 hours after spending $2000 in their shop) was beyond belief to the point that I thought he might have autism or some other disorder that prevents normal socialisation. He was difficult and bulligerant from the start and when I insisted on being treated like customer rather than a pest, he had the audacity to hang up on me! However the managers (especially Drew) are very helpful. I received profuse apologies for that employee's behaviour, but as far as I know he's still working there so always insist on speaking to a manager and the service is good at Quay.

Our family took our computer into these guys to get it fixed, days later and $400 out of pocket, we were told our computer is stuffed basically and so am now buying a new one. Found the staff to be rude and unhelpful, and their computer prices are higher than other places by in some cases hundreds. I would never go here again and i recommend you do not go here either!
