When it comes to funeral care our philosophy is that 'whatever needs doing we are there to help make it happen'. In simple terms, when it comes to funerals, "you name it, we do it".
This philosophy of total care has grown out of a desire to care for bereaved families and to eliminate the hassles families face when they try to arrange, organise and facilitate many of the 'extras' funerals now require to personalise them.
THE ROLE OF THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR
Put simply, our role as your Funeral Director is to arrange and organise all legal and personal matters when death occurs, in order to facilitate a successful funeral.
Within our role, we can organise for you:
* Burial plots or cremation bookings
* Doctor's certificates
* Venue booking for service and catering
* Liaison with celebrant or minister
* Organist, soloists, etc
* Recorded music; tapes or CD's
* Newspaper notices; drafting and inserting
* Floral tributes: for casket and venue
* Service sheets: layout and printing
* Ashes scattering or interments
* Memorials for burials or ashes
* Catering: at the Funeral Home, in the family residence etc
* Payment of gratuities to celebrant, organist etc
* Attendance to all legal documentation including registration of death; burial warrants; medical refereeing for cremation etc.
In fact, no matter what you require, as long as it is physically and legally possible, we will endeavour to arrange anything to do with funerals, anywhere, at any time.
We are Griefcare accredited and committed to ethical, caring and professional service. Griefcare is a quality assurance programme for New Zealand funeral practices, and only those funeral homes with very high standards in facilities and staffing are accredited. Facilities are audited on a regular basis to ensure the standards set are maintained. A member of staff must be qualified in both fields of Embalming and Funeral
