25th August 2009 I would like to write a review for the Samoan Assembly of God in Berhampore. This church is strategically placed in the heart of Berhampore to reach the community that surrounds it. There is so much potential for this church to service the community, which is what church is all about. I am thinking perhaps a childcare service, youth service, counselling, parenting support, after school care, assistance for children with their homework (this list goes on). It is endless what this church can do with the support of those who believe and see the vision for this church. At present it is made up of largely Samoan families and services are conducted in mainly Samoan. The suburb of Berhampore however is made up of many ethnicities who could benefit from being planted in this church and contributing to the future of the Berhampore/Newtown/Mount Cook and beyond community. As with all things, it starts from one small seed. With more seeds placed in this fertile soil with love and care, can turn this vision into a reality. Just imagine what could grow. I am looking for a miracle before this Sunday as there is a likelihood that we may lose these precious buildings to an entity known as a bank. Blessings to you.
