Pegasus books is one of the best stores I have ever visited. The range of stock and level of personal assistance was superb. I was looking for books on obscure topics like mountaineering in Japan, and fly fishing in Fiordland. In both cases, they were able to locate relevant material at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended to any book lover who's looking for a wide selection of texts, and friendly affable staff.

A wide range of books in good order and priced at great value. John (the owner / manager) is very well-read and can make suitable recommendations and give assistance if requested. He also offers a great buying service - giving cash for your used books or credit for an even higher amount.
