Bernina Sewing Machines voted NO 1 in sales 6 years in a row in New Zealand. Family owned and operated with complete customer satisfaction for over 42 years. We cater for the discerning crafts people with products for tapestry, fabric paints, clover products, Olfa products, kwiksew and new look patterns, haberdashery, beading and horn sewing cabinets. We service all makes and models of sewing machine and sell Bernina.

We also stock a wide range of patchwork fabrics and threads and thousands of buttons.

At the Bernina Sewing Centre, we stock a full range of the best in Swiss engineered Bernina sewing machines as well as everything you need for your sewing, embroidery and hand craft projects.

Our staff are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable with years of experience and expertise, just waiting to assist you to find the right product, or even suggest solutions to your craft problems. If you have a query and we can't fix it on the spot we'll go that extra mile and do our best to figure it out or get product in just for you!

We have repair facilities on site, ensuring that we are your ONLY stop for all things sewing! Plus we are New Zealand's largest Bernina dealer.

Whether you drop into our Cameron Road store, or use our great new website, you'll experience the best service and have access to the best quality products, advice and clubs/classes.

Clubs and Classes
Bernina Club 2012
The Bernina club membership is $80.00 per annum. Membership entitles you to a 10% discount (excluding machines, cabinets and overlockers). On club days we have extra specials for you and each month we demonstrate a new technique or a project for you to try using lots of different sewing feet and accessories to stimulate your interest and help you get the most out of your sewing machine and overlocker.

Meetings are friendly and informal and you will find yourself forming new and lasting friendships. Ideas for Bernina Club are always welcome - please let us know your ideas and suggestions.
