Oxford Pies specialise in the manufacture of TOP QUALITY meat & fruit pies using TOP QUALITY ingredients to achieve the sought after product range consumers are demanding.
We are a Kiwi owned and operated wholesale bakery specialising in the manufacture of many flavours of meat pies, sausage rolls, savouries, fruit puds and lamingtons from our premises in the heart of the Waikato, employing some 20 full and part time team members.
Oxford Pies are a HACCP & RMP approved Supplier which means a lot of controls, audits and record keeping ensuring the product is manufactured to a high and safe standard. There are microbiology tests done every month to ensure all is well. We have recently also achieved a Risk Management Programme which takes us to the top end of food safety practices worldwide.
Oxford Pies offer an extensive product range and supplying to a variety of dairies, lunch bars, service stations, function centres, canteens and education facilities throughout the Waikato & Bay of Plenty.

We are very proud to say that Oxford Pies has won a Silver Medal and a Gold Medal at the Bakels Supreme Pie Awards for 2008/2009. Our great achievement was won in the Commercial/Wholesale division for our scrumptious Mince & Cheese.
This was followed up with a Bronze Medal in 2012!
Our pies are of a generous size, which we know is something to be proud of and are hand built in our premises in the heart of the Waikato.
Oxford Pies uses only the best ingredients possible. For example, we purchase our meat from The Chef Ready Meat Company in Hamilton who use locally grown prime beef and our fruit comes from Barkers in Geraldine. Our pastry is made on site, using Bakels products and high grade flour.
We can assure you and your customers that we put nothing but prime meat and real fruit in all our pies. Our pies are “FULL OF MEATY GREATNESS”.
We produce more than 30,000 pies per week in the summer, peaking to over 60,000 in the busy winter period. Over one tonne of pastry is used per night, with more than eight tonne used per week in winter.
We pride ourselves on our flavour some products. Because we use only quality ingredients there is NO NEED to add MSG, TVP, additives or preservatives to enhance the flavours. Our ingredients are all GE free. Therefore, our customers can feel satisfied knowing the flavours in an Oxford Pie are genuine.
Fundraising
Fundraising is a big part of our business and it gives us great pleasure in knowing that we are helping out the community the best way we know how, baking the best pies you’ll ever eat.
Oxford Pies are well known for our fundraising items, selling both our meat and fruit family pie range. We manufacture over 120,000 family pies per year, these are mainly for school and kindergarten fundraising ventures but can be used to fundraise for anything or anyone. Our largest order for one school was 4650 family plate pies, this means they raised over $4500, what a great effort!
yes i to have been a pie consumer for 25+years. and i totaly agree that in the earlier years pies were very nice so nice and meaty that you new what your favourate lables where,such as Big ben irvines,makatu pies, pams;and alot of other brands i have tryed and dread,till i started playing
golf.and the club i played at sold only oxford pies and becouse of that i had no options but to eat and try an oxford pie, so when my husband became club secretary and treasurer. he only ordered in oxford pies
the fillings were great they never have fatty blobs in the steak pie. were most other pies did,other top brands be came so tangy in taste .as well as pies not been filled properly.

and now that i live in australia i tryed there pies and i have to say i dont
eat there pies here again. i wait until i go back to Hamilton and have my oxford pie love them. keep it up oxford
