Food was ok but the service was terrible. No-one was available to check us in to the table so I had to approach bar staff. Food service was slow and I actually had to phone the bar to get drink service! Probably will think twice about going back as the service was poor with very few customers

I've always loved La Zeppa but our experience last night wasn't great. Our waiter clearly didn't want to be at work that day, the main giveaway was the rolling of the eyes after he took our order. Our food was fairly average - the risotto balls didn't look cooked on the outside and were grey on the inside, the Parmesan cheese on the salad was rock hard. Maybe they were having a bad night? i'll go back because the experiences before this have always been great.

Great atmosphere and service. Good food - grab some tapas and share with a drink or two. The fireplace is fantastic on a cold night. Their bar is also nice to just have a drink.

My last visit to La Zeppa and the power was out, so candles everywhere. Preferred it that way! They had to shut though .. Shame; it had a more relaxed ambient feeling.

Wow the service the atmosphere was great. It's not very often I head into the city for drinks on a Friday night; being based in East Auckland, but the experience I had at La Zeppa was great and I'm definitely heading back for more of the grilled calamari and the prawn cocktail....more please?

Great venue. Huge inside so perfect when meeting a large group of friends. Great wine and tasting platters. Roasted potatoes are my favourite. Easy parking which is a bonus.

Love La Zeppa. Great atmosphere for both eating and drinking. The tapas menus is fantastic. Great place to take a group of friends. It's really popular so does get busy!
