Laser Micro Welding for the deposition of small amounts of metal very accurately with the least heat of any welding process.
No distortion, discolouration, undercuts. The weld is as good as the parent metal. Can weld most steels, copper alloys, titanium, aluminium.
Used for the repair and modification of Plastic and Rubber moulds. Repair of metal machine parts etc. Fusion welding of metal parts eg. Medical equipment.
Weld spot size from 0.3mm to 1.5mm.
This process is becomming widely accepted as the most efficient method of maintaining Plastic and Rubber Moulds as only sufficient metal is applied to do the job thus requiring much less time cleanup.
Is used for the building up of worn metal parts, shafts, key ways, switch parts, the list is endless.
