this is one of the best buffet restuarants in chirstchurch.The food is really great and they have a great range to choose from.the staff arnt all that great and the price you pay to dine there has gone up a fair bit.but overall its a nice place.

Well what a dissapointment after paying &31 for a buffet meal and ordering pork and asking for some crackle and to be told tuff although there was plenty there not a very nice response I thought wont hurry back!!

Yum! We have been here twice in the last three weeks. For a while, Sequoia was not very good and we hadn't been in about a year (after going there for EVERY single one of my partners familys birthdays etc for years) but now, they have really picked it up and it was amazing! The only thing I have to say is the price has gone up a lot to $28.80, the jugs of fizzy are now at a whopping $9.50! and the lighting in the back room is REALLY bad. Other than that, the food is so good! We will be back.

The service is good and so is the food you can chose what you want and you can have as much as you like.I would go back as it is all fresh

For a smorgasboard/buffett restaurant, it's not too bad (I've been to worse). The staff are all friendly and the plates are cleared away reasonably promptly. They have a nice selection of 'fresh' food along with the usual fried and stewed varieties. Their prawns and fish are always well stocked and worth trying. There is a good selection of desserts and their hot apricot cobbler is the best! The only comment would be for a little better lighting, as it always seems a wee dark in their. Booking on a night when they have live entertainment is better for added atmosphere. Their bar in the foyer is great for large groups to use to meet up, instead of coming in dribs and drabs to the table. Children find this a good restaurant.
