Cafe Affair very busy restaurant,wonderful food,very pleasant staff and upstairs very exciting with the leather chairs.Food a great variety especially the hot grill plates so you can cook your own meat to perfection

We have selected the best of Nelson and Marlborough wines and foods and present them to you in a form to be savoured. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from cabinet to A La Carte we have flavours to suit every palate. Speciality dishes to suit Vegetarian and Gluten Free preferences as well as seafood, and a selection of meats.

Cafe Affair, featuring the unique stone-grill dining experience is proudly designed and built to reflect the uniqueness of the Nelson area, with the stunning feature fireplace built out of boulders which also features in the bar and cafe exterior.

Relax and soak up the historical charm with friendly dedicated service and innovative exciting food, featuring monthly art displays from local artists.

A large selection of regional wines are our speciality. Previous winner of the Taste Nelson cafe and bar awards.

Open 7 days, 9am - till late, winter hours may be shorter. Please call our friendly staff for reservations.

Lovely cafe with a good ambiance, plenty of room and not too noisy... The food was delicious and reaasonbly priced and our wee boy loved the kids cave under the stairs!

Proven for me over time for great quality and consistent service. During the years spent in and around Nelson "Cafe Affair" was a hot spot.It repeatedly catered to my eclectic tastes in ambiance and menu. From putting and enjoying the art on the walls, snuggling around the fire, hanging out in the sun on the street cafe, getting away by myself upstairs, it succeeded in filling a variety of consummate needs. Love it.

Great food & service, reasonably-priced, nice kick-back area up-stairs & optional revolving door that kid's love & the elderly fear, will try out log fire in winter
