Kashmir Restaurant has long been a destination choice for Indian food lovers. We have always tried to provide an Indian dining experience that is unmatched.
18th October 2010 This was our first visit and won't be out last. We really enjoyed the authentic decor and great atmosphere.
For our entrees we tried the Samosa and Chicken Tikha, they were of a good size and absolutely delicious.
We tried to experiment a little with our mains as the menu had lots of dishes we hadn't tried before. My partner tried the Lamb Madras in coconut, tomato and onion gravy. It was very tender and really yummy. I had the Chicken Mughlai with Mushrooms, cooked with cashew nuts, gravy, delicate spices & mushrooms, it was divine. We shared our dishes and still had a little left over to take home and enjoyed for lunch the next day.
I honestly think it was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. It could become very addictive. The service was very good and the meal was extremely good value for money. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Kashmir Restaurant is one of the finest Indian restaurants on the North Shore (Milford and Albany Mega Centre) having started in Mt Eden.
Kashmir Restaurant has long been a destination choice for Indian food lovers. We have always tried to provide an Indian dining experience that is unmatched. Specialising in North Indian Cuisine, we are famous for our authentic curry, tandoori dishes and freshly baked breads. To accompany these there is plenty of rice dishes and the usual range of side dishes like raita, chutneys etc.
All of our dishes are enhanced with our secret spice recipe. We have always hand mixed the perfect spice combination in our kitchen. We bake our breads as per order, ensuring our diners receive soft, perfectly baked bread every time. Having said that, when it comes to Indian Cuisine we prefer to keep it simple by only creating the best. Our food is gluten free.
Not only is this an experience in taste, but also in culture and environment. From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, you will be surrounded by the ambiance of what we have to offer.
Indian cuisine is as varied as its terrain. From the rich Kashmiri dishes to the simple vegetarian cuisine, the art of eating Indian food is to sample dishes sharing the different tastes with your guests.
Visit us today and experience the taste worth travelling for.

4.5Great Indian restaurant. Reasonable prices and the food is always excellent. Service can be a tad slow, but the people are friendly.

12th September 2010 Best Indian resturant for me ever. Goregous ambience, service needs a bit of attention, but they made for it in food, presentation and value for money.

11th September 2010 Although the store is tucked away and looks crap from the outside, the inside is quite authentic and is very interesting. The atmosphere inside is pretty romantic and relaxing. The food is very addictive. They serve you heaps of rice but you keep on eating cause the food taste so good. Unfortunately, all the curries I've tried (over 4) tasted relatively the same, still very nice though. This place had many complaints about the owner (woman) being quite cold to her customers - I felt that a few times but she has also been nice to me. I guess she is like any human. They do takeaways too! Good for students like me.
The food won't disappoint.

28th August 2010 we have had great food here, both in the restaurant and as takeaways. Always great service. Best curry on the Shore.
