Peracto offers an independent contract research and development service to pesticide manufacturers and distributors and to seed and fertiliser distributors or agents.
We are research consultants operating from Pukekohe, a rural town 50 km south of Auckland, New Zealand's largest urban centre. The Pukekohe region is recognised for intensive market gardening, growing and supplying produce for the local and export markets. Peracto NZ also has access to sites in other nearby regions of the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Auckland, and links with similar services in other regions in New Zealand and Australia.
The company is managed and field trials directed by Paul Munro, a graduate of Lincoln University, Canterbury. Paul has had extensive previous experience with Lincoln University, Shell Chemicals and Cyanamid.
Independent, confidential contract research services are provided to the horticultural and agricultural industries as a sole provider of their research needs, or for specialised services to supplement their own resources.
Peracto specialises in either developing uses for new materials or extending label claims for existing compounds, including efficacy studies, crop tolerance testing, simple screens, demonstrations and residue studies (including full GLP capabilities).
Services offered include a full design service, using recognized evaluation methods and full reporting on performance. Links are utilised with other accredited or recognised service providers such as laboratories and specialist consultants. Field activities follow standard industry guidelines outlined in trial protocols.
