Allied Work Force is a leader in the casual and temporary staff placement industry in New Zealand. The company, established in 1988 is truly a national entity with 27 branches from Kaitaia to Invercargill and is the only recruitment company listed on the NZX.
Allied Work Force has a permanent staff of over 120 and a crew pool of approximately 8,000 available to service our client base of in excess of 7,000 businesses.
Allied Work Force crosses all business sectors in the country. It provides skilled and unskilled crew to Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehousing, Construction, Transportation, Food Processing, Infrastructure, Logistics, Waste Management and others. The business is organized into three main sectors being:
MANUFACTURING & LOGISTICS: including warehousing, manufacturing, food processing, retailing, furniture removals and relocations, devanning, fork lift and truck driving and postal services.
CONSTRUCTION & GENERAL: including the full range of jobs carried out for residential and commercial building, parks and reserves maintenance, roading and infrastructure work sites including roller and digger drivers, earth moving machinery and open trucks of all sizes, and anywhere else that an employer needs a hand.
TRADES: Including work performed by carpenters, plumbers, electricians, fitters/turners, welders, cabinetmakers, painters.
Allied Work Force pioneered the transportation of its crew to the job and still operates a substantial fleet to ensure that its crew is able to get to many employers' sites.
Crew Health, Safety and Training are priorities of the company. Allied Work Force is accredited at Tertiary level to the ACC Partnership Programme and takes responsibility for the self insurance of all of its employees.
The company undertakes Site Safe and Traffic Control Training through its own schools and it is mandatory for all crew to receive induction and training before working on a client's site.
