The business is owned by Kim Baker, ably assisted by his niece Tania Tekira.
We use, when available organically grown "old world" apple varieties to create our extraordinary product and we have recently planted another small block to ensure ongoing availability of the rarer types of apples. CoralTree uses an oak barrel maturation process that can trace its origins to Hippocrates, the father of medicine in 400 BC. Our vinegar can be cloudy, due to the fact that we don't filter and the naturally occurring fermentation process presents the 'living mother' giving it a hazy appearance. This is your guarantee of authenticity of the fermentation process.
The fruit for the juices is all sourced locally where possible and harvested at exactly the right time to capture the essential vitamins and goodness from the fruit. The apples are then juiced immediately, bottled and pasteurised once the juice is sealed in the bottles. The pasteurisation process (heat treatment) gives the juices the preservative measure needed without the need for artificial preservatives, colouring or additives. The juices are 100% juice with no added water and have a two year shelf life.
CoralTree Organic Products Limited is fully certified under BioGro Reg 412 and Kosher Kiwi. We focus on product quality and integrity under NZFSA's HACCP based food safety guidelines.
