Gear Homestead is a historic house owned and operated by Porirua City Council on 4 hectares of gardened grounds and offers a picturesque setting for wedding ceremonies and photo opportunities. The Homestead is ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions and private functions or parties for up to 80 guests for a formal seated dinner and 100 for a standing cocktail function. Seminars and business meetings can also be held there, with full catering and meeting facilities.
