Zeafruit is a produce marketing and supply chain management company focused predominantly in the citrus industry in New Zealand. We are currently servicing around 500 growers from Northland, Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne. All growers supply, based on our performance - we have no grower contracts.
We have three packhouses contract packing for us to cover the above regions.
It is strategically important for Zeafruit to have a supply base that covers every citrus growing region in the country enabling us to deliver consistently to our customers for a longer supply period. While 80% of our volume is procured in Gisborne, growers in the North, Auckland and BOP are equally important and valued suppliers.
Northland supply gets us into the market early gaining access to supermarket shelf space, which we can then maintain for the remainder of the season with supply from BOP and Gisborne. Our citrus produce is marketed under the "Charlie's" brand, the most recognised fresh fruit brand in New Zealand. Our goal is to make Charlie's Premium Fresh NZ Citrus available to the consumer for 12 months of the year.

Zeafruit is a key client to Turners and Growers and forms the backbone of their NZ citrus program. We enjoy a close working relationship with T&G, together building strong relationships with supermarket and independent green grocer customers. The strength of this relationship also delivers certainty of market access and minimises financial risk to Zeafruit and grower suppliers.
