I had their bacon, lettuce and avocado "burger" and it was perfect for lunch, and came with the perfect amount of chips - not too many, not too few, and not greasy. I decided on one of their lagers, and while it was fantastic beer, I really wished I'd ordered their IPA. Truly, if you like IPA, The Twisted Hop has the best IPA in Christchurch. They know it too!
The Twisted Hop is the only brewery producing traditional English style cask conditioned ales in Christchurch, and it's brewpub is the only place to sample them. So if you are dying for a proper pint, pop on down and enjoy one of the Real Ales brewed onsite.
Every Wednesday evening from 7pm onwards the Twisted Hop invite any of you budding musicians to get on down with your instrument.

13th July 2010 5 of us were wanting to get a good bite to eat and have a catch up as it had been a while since we had all seen each other. 2 of us in the group arn't the easiest to cater for as one is Dairy free and another is both Dairy and gluten free.
With this in mind one glance of the Menu outside was enough to get us in the door. From there the experience kept getting better. The food was out standing with decent sized portions versus price with a good few specials as well. The service was prompt (not rushed) and the waiteress was pleasant (Not pestering). We were well catered for and the environment was perfect for good catch up with old mates.
I cant wait to return
