31st January 2012 I purchased a gold bangle from this jewelry company and it nearly broke completely in half after a couple of days wearing it. I took it back to return it and ask for my money back. The Manager implied that you get what you pay for and was quite arrogant. He pointed to the bangle on the arm of the person who accompanied me to the store and tried to explain to me that her bangle was much better quality! After I told him that I felt offended by his attitude towards me he offered to send it for repair for no charge. It came back repaired but it is so flimsy that it has nearly broken completely in half again so I cannot wear it anymore. Pascoes did not inform me before I paid for it that it was hollow nor will they take it back and refund my money. I took it to another jeweler for a valuation and the bangle that I paid Pascoes $199.00 for (on sale) is only worth $25.00. So I feel that it is necessary to write a review and let future buyers beware. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this store and feel that I have been ripped off.
