This place is absolutel awesome I live in Christchurch and often make the drive out just to go this restaurant. The food is awesome and so is the service it's just an all around great restaurant.you will not be disappointed!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was not completely what I expected, though it cannot be faulted. The service was really good amd very friendly. More importantly the food was a cut above! This is definitely a place that I will frequent again!! Do take the time to read the whole menu - there are some really quirky things in there :)

Some people ask the secret of our long marriage, We take time to go to a restaurant two times a week. A little candlelight dinner, soft music and dancing. She goes Tuesdays, I go Fridays Sorry I always like to start with a wee joke. I have recently moved out to Kaiapoi and have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of quality restaurants I have come across. 3 Cows takes the cake, scones and the entire tea pot! My wife and I walked in one night, no reservation, and were treated with the welcome of an old friend that you haven’t seen for some years. And in my opinion service can turn a restaurant with average quality food, in to Michelin quality. But it just so happens that 3 Cows has great food anyway. I have been here 3 times now in the last month and have found they have great continuity of service. Great job 3 Cows!
