Booked a ticket to travel to Palmerston North by phone and the lady at the other end confirmed the ticket was booked to Palmerston North, but on the designated day when I arrive at their Auckland city office - I was appalled to learn that they have booked me on the New Playmouth bus, the lady the counter was all lost and waited for her colleague to look into it and they told me to call the 0800 number to sort out the things, when I called the 0800 number the staff was not only rude she refused to make any changes, and I had to then rebook my tkt to Palmerston north by spending another $78 - when I had clearly paid $160!!! for my wrong ticket to Palmerston North. ow I am waiting to have my $160 refunded back to me and they have still to respond to our emails. I do not recommend Intercity, this was my first experience and am clearly not happy with their customer service.Intercity is non responsive and have yet to refund back for the wrong booking made by them.
