Harrier Manufacturing commenced trading in 1984 in small premises in Rangiora. As a need developed for a quality alloy product in both the Heavy truck and light commercial areas Harrier progressed to their present premises in Christchurch.
The development of the range of products and commercial associations has allowed us to stay within our mainstream business of alloy accessories for all forms of the transport and commercial industry.
We believe that we are the largest, and indeed the only major manufacturer of alloy bars and decks in the South Island.
This provides us the flexibility to undertake various fabrication and manufacturing committments beyond our normal core business, but still within the alloy framework.
Having experienced staff with an in house polishing service means Harrier Manufacturing can meet most challenges in the alloy engineering and fabrication field.
Harrier Manufacturing have a range of stockcrates/dogboxes available for both wellside and flatdeck vehicles.
These are designed to be used for the storage and transportation of stock, dogs, equipment and luggage be it between towns or just across the road.
All crates and boxes are custom made and manufactured from alloy to be easily removed, lightweight and non rust.
All designs are planned for your specific needs and allow any number of options such aspartitions ( vertical and horizontal ) toolboxes, sidedoors, builtinroofs and canvascovers. Your crate may also be shaped to follow the contour of the deck or wellside and allow less wind resistance.
A system of ratchet tie downs will allow the crate to be removed from the vehicle within minutes.
