Welcome to Thomson's Suits, part of Hawkes Bay since 1957, Thomson's Suits are a well-established family business based on traditional, old-fashioned friendly service. We sell and hire quality suits for every occasion.

We take pride in providing quality brands including Aertex, Canterbury and Cambridge, as well as Rembrandt and SIE (to name a few). A suit hire service is offered and we have a wide selection available. The comfort and feel of a real 100% wool suit is second to none. Invest in a good suit - this is where your wardrobe dollars are best spent. Richness and quality fabrics combined with good tailoring will never go out of style. Extend the life of your suit with an extra pair of trousers, and you have a wardrobe centrepiece that can last a lifetime.

In 1957 Mick Thomson opened Thomson's Suits Limited. The size of the shop being less than a quarter of what it is today. Mick's son Michael started in the store in 1967 and grandson Angus started in 1998 ensuring the Thomson tradition continues.

Thomson's Suits reputation for excellence in service has spread far and wide, with loyal customers coming from all around the world to experience the warm Thomson's Suits atmosphere.

Our staff include Michael and Angus, following on in Mick's footsteps. Bruce Giorgi starting in 1987, and Hamish How who has been here for 2 years, and Liz Dark, Michael's daughter who works part time doing the advertising and marketing. Pam Thomson does the window displays and merchandising and Nyla Daly has joined the team doing the office work.
