Situated on the waterfront overlooking the Wanganui River you will find the Red Lion Inn. Bring your family or friends and experience a pub with great atmosphere and ambience.
You can sit out on the deck and enjoy a wine while watching the Waimarie steam up the river or the wakas paddling past.
Our restaurant is located upstairs in the upmarket premises. Not only are the views of the river and lights at night spectacular, the food is sublime.
You can try the Cafe Bar which has alfresca dining and a fine selection of NZ wine.
Or check out the Public Bar which is also a great place to grab some grub, meet some locals, and take a punt at the TAB.
Functions are our speciality with rooms overlooking the Wanganui River, all with their own unique style.
