ROTARY MILKING PLATFORMS
The Major Benefits are constant flow process where the operator stays in one place putting the cups on as the cows pass by, makes the best use of manpower, and the cows are milked in individual bails.

The rotation speed can be varied normally from 7 to 11 minutes depending on the herd's production, and milking times are more consistent compared to a batch type milking system. The cows are happier milking on a well set up rotary platform and they seldom muck in the shed.

The odd slow milker is not a problem, they can go around again and not hold up a full row. Platforms can be sized to suit you herd size and required milking times. With automatic teat remover, one person can milk the cows if required.

Our platforms have uncluttered and dry centre areas with no spokes or locating arms etc other than air and milk lines to the central gland.

Out designs allow for the valuable and often high tech milk plant to be installed underneath in a clean dry environment also easy for maintenance.

Round yard or square yard, well designed layout for optimum cow flow and herd control, with integrated drafting and loadout facilities. Electric overhead gate to bring up cows in smaller groups. Water or power driven backing gate complete with yard wash.

PRESSURE VESSEL MANUFACTURING
Dispatch and Garlick are housed in workshops which cover some 5000 square metres. We have our own rail sliding, are serviced by two 10 tonne and one 5 tonne overhead crane and comprise of an entire building devoted to the manufacture of the Rotary Milking Platforms as well as a Boiler Shop, Fitting-Machine Shop, and a Moulding Shop/Foundry.

THE MACHINE SHOP
Full machine shop facilities for machining a wide range of materials and configurations, including Okuma CNC lathes and a large brake bed lathe with a maximum swing capability of 3.6 metres
Other machines include Horizonal Boring Machine radial drills, milling machines, slotting and Keyway machines and 12 lathes of various sizes. Work includes keyway cutting, cutting of internal and external splines, line boring and facing, gear cutting threading, and all types of lathe machinery.

We can do short and long production runs.
