Our fully licensed restaurant is open seven days a week year round for morning/afternoon teas and lunch (also dinner by arrangement). Bookings are recommended.
Whatever the season, there are many culinary delights on offer to suit different tastes and appetites: our famous Devonshire Teas, something from the All Day Menu, coffee and a decadent treat, a Picnic Basket (ordered in advance) - all featuring Canterbury flavours and produce and our speciality breads baked daily.
The restaurant is also happy to cater for tour groups available between 8am - 5pm and other times by prior arrangement.
Apart from the natural attributes of the property, the recently installed commercial kitchen ensures that the Mona Vale team can easily and professionally cater for dinners, garden parties and cocktail parties, weddings and special celebrations either in the Homestead or incorporating a marquee on the lawn.
In recognition of the popularity of the Gardens and Homestead with Asian visitors, we are now offering menus translated into Mandarin, Korean and Japanese as well as featuring food options that are appealing to these markets
