Building a new house and unfortunately chose Gerard Corona Shake Satin tiles, they look totally different from the photo of them on their website. On their website the joins and overlaps are all very smooth and all edges in line, no bumps and it looks great, but in reality on our roof the joins and overlaps are as rough as guts and look awful. The rep from Gerard came out and had a look and commented that the picture on the website would have been set up on a rig to look good and because of the way the tiles are made there is no way in practice that they can get it to look like the photo on their website. I call that false advertising and representation. Our roof looks ugly and I am very disappointed. The photos they put on their website should represent how they look when installed on your roof.
