2nd May 2012 Have been leaving our three little dogs with Parkavon for many years now. We travel overseas frequently and they have been left for up to two months at a time. Our dogs are happy to be left there and always fit and healthy when we pick them up. The first time we went there we asked to view the kennels so that we could select the type of kennel that we thought would be best for them as all 3 are housed together. We chose one that has underfloor heating in the interior section. We now always ask for the same kennel. Have never had a bad experience and have found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.

7th November 2011 I phoned to see if they could get my dog in, they were fully booked and couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Very poor customer service!

20th May 2011 Had a horrible experience. They snatched my dog and took him straight out the back without showing me anything or asking anything about my dog. The guy was extremely rude and hurtful. Would never ever recommend this place.

19th January 2010 We have been taking our dog to Parkavon for 7 years now as we travel regulary and have been extremely happy with them. The staff that actually look after the dogs are friendly with both us and our dog and most importantly our dog has always come out looking in excellent condition. We have had previous animals in other cattery and kennels who have come out unwell and lost weight. I have recommended Parkavon to 2 other friends who also use them and have no issues. I have heard that ParkAvon do not take Border Collies because they are very active and not suited to be kennelled. I think they have the right to reject any booking if it is in the best interests of the animals. Recommended.

12th January 2009 I was highly recommeded to Parkavon from the kennels association for my breed of dog. I phoned and they were booked out however after explaining my situation they fitted me in. I have now used them for three years and was looking for their number to rebook once more and discovered these reviews on line which to me seem unfounded as they have never used the kennels. Take it from me my animal family stay at least three time per year and love it, I never worry about any of them as I know they are in expert hands and my animals love going. I also have my dogs groomed and they are Spaniel Specialists. I am EXTREMELY happy with them and would recommend Parkavon to anyone who loves their animals.However they are hard to get into so remember to book in advance. Thanks

14th August 2008 Absolutely agree - one of the rudest most arrogant people in any business I have dealt with in a long time. Seriously needs to sort out his attitude as it sounds like he just doesn't care. I would not want to leave my pet with such a person anyway...

29th December 2007 UNbelievabley rude! Rang up to book in our 12 year old dog and was asked what breed it was when I replied "Border Collie cross" I was told "no we don't take Border Collies" Maybe you should advertise in the yellow pages a you have, what breeds you do Take!!!!!!
