Stayed there a while back Nov. 2006 and was knocked out by food quality and the hospitality plus the overall value. I got a single en-suite, dinner, breakfast
and nice staff for what I consider a bargain price and would not hesitate to recommend 'The Lion' to anyone. Not 'posh', not that modern but quite excellent overall.
