SOUTHLAND disABILITY ENTERPRISES Ltd, as SEI, was established in 1973, as an Industrial Work Training Unit. Originally, our mission was to provide a second level of Training for People with Disabilities but our latest incarnation has seen us become fully established as a provider of "Disability Employment Services".
These services include both Sheltered and Supported Employment, but we have gone out of our way to keep our original concept of utilising real work in a real work setting.
We recycle glass, paper, cardboard, plastic, and bale wrap for resale, we manufacture outdoor furniture, pallets, firewood and kindling, we prepare, assemble and package a large variety of products for postage and sale, and we do it all by
PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST.
