4th November 2008 You don't find these good old fashioned NZ pubs anymore still with a separate public and private bar, especially not in Auckland. Nothing staged here, it's an authentic English pub that's been in the same building for over 100 years. Great outdoor area, plenty of room for the kids to run around, and very handy to the ferry. Great pub grub and a handle club. Don't miss the weekend meat raffles run by the local fishing club who use 'the Tav' as their clubrooms.
