FAS primary activity is based on providing quality service and maintenance to refrigeration and airconditioning equipment as well as plumbing and combustion heating.

Being a private Company a considerable amount of commitment and effort goes into ensuring that our clients are provided with a personal and caring service. Our aim is to maintain satisfied clients from both a performance and financial point of view.

The Managing Director of FAS, Ron Findlay, has worked in the refrigeration industry since leaving school in 1966, serving an apprenticeship with Hill & Stewart and becoming a service foreman for Fletcher Mechanical - Airite, for four years prior to starting FAS in 1980. At the time Fletcher Mechanical were the Carrier Airconditioning Agent.

FAS acquired Reynolds Refrigeration in 1989 and King Plumbing in November 1998 and now offers plumbing, gasfitting, combustion and pipework to its list of services. King Plumbing has a history going back to 1904 when it started as J B King and Sons.

We are currently the nominated service company for several institutional and industrial clients such as Fisher & Paykel; S.C.A. Hygiene; Air New Zealand; Fletcher Wood Panels; Visy Pak; H.R.I.; Datacom; Invitrogen and a number of others.
