The focus of AWF Labour is to provide the best blue collar labourers and trades people to Construction, Civil, waste management and general labouring nationally.
Every day, AWF Labour places more than 2,000 temporary staff into this sector where they undertake work such as: residential and commercial construction; parks and reserves maintenance; roading and infrastructure maintenance include equipment operation and traffic control; waste management and recycling handling and operations and everything else where an employer needs an unskilled, semi skilled or skilled labourer or tradesman. AWF Labour's tradesmen include carpenters, plumbers, electricians, fitter/turners, welders, cabinetmakers and painters.
AWF Labour's sister division is AWF Manufacturing and Logistics (see our branches under this division) which provides temporary staff to warehousing, manufacturing, food processing, retailing, furniture removals, devanning, forklift and truck driving and much more.
The Health, Safety and upskilling of our staff is a top priority. AWF is ACC tertiary accredited and is the only recruitment company in NZ to be a member of the ACC Partnership Programme. As an approved Training entity, AWF trains both Site Safe and Traffic Control courses nationally as well as courses in construction and food safety.

AWF pioneered the transportation of its crew to the job and still operates a substantial fleet to ensure that its crew is able to get to many employers' sites.
Crew Health, Safety and Training are priorities of the company. AWF is accredited at Tertiary level to the ACC Partnership Programme and takes responsibility for the self insurance of all of its employees.
The company undertakes Site Safe and Traffic Control Training through its own schools and it is mandatory for all crew to receive induction and training before working on a client's site.
