Maureen was my midwife for the birth of my first child, my son Max (now 7). She was a lovely midwife, really energetic and on to it. She was so caring and concerned for me and my husband and was knowledgeable on all aspects of pregnancy and gave great post delivery care. She had lots of helpful ideas, due to her vast experience, and was very supportive. My son's delivery was difficult due to shoulder distocia, and I am grateful that it was a quick decision, once problems were encountered, to call in a specialist obstetrician to manage the delivery, which was successful (bar Max's broken collar bone). I have always been grateful to Maureen for a great management of a difficult birth.
