Victoria Cinema is available for Private, Corporate or Event hire. Our decor is reminiscent of traditional theatre and is both eloquent and comfortable. The auditorium is ideal for medium-sized conferences or product launches, even auctions. We have been hosts to several weddings and birthdays.
57 seats with generous leg-room are arranged over six rows and ascend stadium-style for uninterrupted views to the presentation area and screen. Each seat has a folding table on the right arm-rest, allowing placement of documents, drinks, snacks etc. The theatre and foyer are air-conditioned and comfortably heated in winter.
The theatre has easy access for disabled or wheel-chaired persons (with two spaces for wheelchairs in the second row).
SEMINARS - PRESENTATIONS - LECTURES
We can screen video from your laptop computer e.g PowerPoint or other AV. Displays are viewed on the main screen and in high detail. We can also reproduce sound through the theatre sound system. A laser-pointer is available free of charge.
Victoria Cinema is fully licensed. In conjunction with our in-house cafe we serve a range of quality beers and wines, superb Karajoz espresso and soft drinks. Outside catering (or your own) can be arranged and served in the foyer on modern trestle tables. Due to licensing, we cannot permit BYO alcohol but we can provide liquor at favourable rates by arrangement.
Hire a "Classic" Movie for your function - We may have some old favourites available, but note that genuine film classics are hard to come by. Check with us on alternatives that may be possible.
Business, social or just a private gathering, we are happy to discuss and quote individual hire-packages to suit your requirements. (Note: we need booking confirmation a minimum of two weeks in advance. A booking deposit is payable and is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within the minimum period).
