A group of 3 of us had a fantastic meal on Saturday evening. The starters we to die for - oysters, whitebait and pork belly. The mains were incredible - beef, venison and pork. Perfectly cooked and presented so artistically. The wine waiter was superb with excellent product knowledge and suggestions for wine matches. Then there were the desserts - the snow egg was an artwork and the cheese and sticky pudding divine. One of our group was a chef and she thought the food was incredible. We have all dined at the Michelin star restaurant 'Aria' in Brisbane and all felt the White House food was better and the menu more extensive. The service was great too. It was perfect!

Had a lovely meal there. Watched the sun set over the harbour, the locals running along the waterfront and seagulls fishing in the shallows. Maybe this is why we had the duck and fish meals. Both were fantastic. But it was the desserts that were spectactular. Waitstaff were knowledgeable, friendly and witty. Put you at ease and catered to requests to cope with food allegies. Look forward to going back again.

Just had the new set menu lunch on the balcony in the sun watching the Seven's fans go by. Fantastic venue, gorgeous food and great service. Highly recommend it!

Stunning service, stunning cuisine and wine. We were offered the wine to be matched to our food and it was great. It is a little pricy but actually it is worth it. Going to the Whitehouse is not like going to any other restaurant - for us it is for special times!

I have been to The White House Restaurant twice now, and both experiences have been amazing. The food was exquisite and presented impressively. The views from the restaurant are beautiful, especially at night time when you can see Wellington City lit up in all its glory. I recommend the Snow-Egg for dessert, it was an experience in itself! Great food, staff and atmosphere, 5/5!!

My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and it was so cute! The staff are well-trained and professional,the food is fantastic and above all the experience and atmosphere are fantastic. I love this restaurant and truly recommend it.

We dined as a group of 6 adults and two children- initially we were dubious about the catering for the children however were amazed at the attentive, friendly and child friendliness of the restaurant!. Fine dining, which the kids were involved in- they too received amuse bouche, had cutlery replaced and drinks topped up like us. They had an independent menu which was a delight to see chicken nuggets were unavailable.
The food/service/view were fantastic, and the meal surpassed our expectations.
The only disappointment was the temperature of the dining room upstairs which was very cold and during dining the moving in of several oil fin heaters to abate this!

the restaurant and the whole setting of the establishment was excellent, I went there for my engagement with 8 people and the table was set up awesome, the en-trees and the 3 course meals were fantastic,I would recommend this restaurant to any one and the staff were well presented and friendly

I have been to this restaurant once with my friends when we went on a road trip and I have to say this restaurant serves absolutely delicious and scrumptious food that will make your taste buds and mouth to water. The service that we get from the staff is just so incredible and amazing because of the way they treat you. Also the atmosphere in this restaurant is very warm and cosy. If you live close to this restaurant, you should consider giving this restaurant a try. Highly recommended to everyone. You will love everything in this restaurant that you will want to come back again and again.

It really doesn't get much better than the whitehouse. This has been my favourite restaurant since it was a dinky little place on Willis Street.
Now around Oriental Parade, the food is almost impossible to beat and the serving staff are like magicians the way they work the guests. I always come away feeling like a million dollars.

The White House Restaurant is the best restaurant i ever been to. perfect service and great food. and the romantic environment is my favorite!
The restaurant is located beside the sea, so you can see the sea-view from inside. It is great!
If you go to Wellington and not go to the White House Restaurant, you will regretted, i promise!!!
