5th December 2012 Very disappointed with the food.Not appealing to look at.I had the garlic chicken(hot plate).Have eaten alot of Japanese food and this was the worst I have had.Friendly waitress.Will not be returning.

5.0Had dinner for two at Kari tonight and it was amazing! Really nice authentic cuisine and atmosphere, as well as really friendly staff!

18th December 2011 We are regular customers of this restaurant. I love Japanese food and have eaten at many japanese restaurants across the Auckland region. Consistently Karin remains one of our favourites for freshness and value for money. The service is friendly and accommodating. The menu is full of variety and is always served with beautiful presentation.
The sashimi is fresh and delicious. The raw scampi is a particular favourite! The Chicken karaage is also divine as is the Nabe-yake udon pot. It's all lovely and chase it all down with some warm sake or ice cold plum wine depending on your prederence, you can not go wrong! Oishi-kata!

6th April 2011 I wanted to treat my family so we all went to Karin, it was an exciting new experiance tasting gud japaneese food for the first time all the food we ate was fresh , very delicious, and there was a gud variety to choose from my children were settled and enjoyed the food also that was a bonus, I would definately recommend Karin as a perfect choice of resturant to take the family to.
I cant wait to go back.

5th October 2010 We went to Karin on Saturday for a friends surprise birthday dinner and it was such a great evening.
The staff were attentive and accommodating (we had to move a few chairs around) and the food was absolutely amazing. It was fresh and delicious and quick.
I am looking forward to going back again soon!

9th July 2010 Fab Japanese food made by real Japanese chefs. Everything is fresh and the presentation is fantastic. The place is very cosy and has a nice private atmosphere to it. Try their green tea shaved iced dessert if you like green tea but that’s only if you can fit it in as their meals are very filling.
