We accidentally stumbled across Fisher House trying to find the entrance to the petrol station and what a find! The exterior was clad in stone and looked extremely inviting on a shitty day. We had the 250g beef burgers and the chips with Aioli. The beef was extremely tender and overall the burger was close to one of the best I've had. Monteiths and Tiger beer on tap topped off the experience. The waitress was really friendly and the service quick. Stoked with our find! If you're in East Tamaki I'd recommend Fisher House without hesitation.

Visited Fisher House with my partner & mother in law last Sunday to try the Sunday roast. Not only did we receive excellent service from our waitress, the food was delicious (try the pork with crackling!) Also, anyone who can impress the mother in law with the toilet hygiene standards gets a big thumbs up from me! Definately worth a visit.

What a shame - great setting but the promise not fulfilled by the dining. Sunday brunch with a limited menu - no spinach left for the Eggs Benedict. No sausages left except for Chorizos and of the three lattes ordered one was half foam, the double shot was the colour of dishwater and the single shot was almost pure milk. This is our second try since they opened - it will be the last!
