2nd October 2010 I love Meow! Its such a "Wellington" cafe with a very unique, arty vibe. If you are gluten free this is the cafe for you! Normally there is a very wide range of gluten free goodies and meals, even lasagne and pizza!
The only drawback for me is that their coffee isn't great. I keep going back though, because its such a nice place to eat and the food is fantastic.
Meow Cafe is a Wellington City cafe with a strong emphasis on using all natural, organic and free range ingredients.
Meow serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and light snacks and is fully licensed. It is open from 7:00am - 4:30pm on Monday, from 7:00am until late Tuesday to Friday, 9:30am until late on Saturday and from 9:30 until 4:00pm on Sundays.
Meow Cafe offers a range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. It's alcoholoic beverages are organic, wherever possible. Meow serves coffee by local wellington roastery Havana.
Sample menu items include vege hash, organic porridge for breakfast, mushroom risotto for a light meal and, for dinner, organic wild boar.

23rd August 2010 I go here for lunch with a friend every week or two. Good selection of food, both counter and menu, and lots of yummy cakes and slices. Most if not all of the food is gluten free. I usually go for the saffron and pine nut scrambled eggs on gluten free bread which is yum! The only downside is that sometimes the service is a little vague or slow, but usually it's fine. Oh and the gluten free brownies - highly recommended, they are well hidden in a tin at the counter but worth keeping your eyes peeled for ;)
