We've dined here often for the very reason the menu caters for all and it has a $9 lunch menu that works well with clients. Service has been well above average and the food is also up there too, no complaints there. I would recommend it to those that want a good safe place to go out to and you know they wont be disappointed. But the last 3 times we've been there, and we have been there a lot, we've found the noise a bit much especially when they turn the music up. That aside we have been there when they have been busy while many of the others in that street have been quiet, that should tell you something. I would hate to see the standards slip here but. We've been given a voucher from friends so we will be back for more sometime soon. 8/12/12

Dinner on a Saturday night for a group of 8 people. All couples. Overall our food was nice, fish was lovelry,presented nicely and it didn't take too long. Drink service was good too. HOWEVER some of things they did annoyed a few of us. You cannot serve a bowl of lukewarm tinned baby beetroot and call them 'roasted beets'. Not impressed guys. And serving half a mushroom hidden under mashed potato on the guys steaks annoyed them too. The cashier was understanding & removed them from our bill, which was fortunate because the reception from the waiter when we voiced our concerns was icey.

I ordered the spagetti maranara and despite the fact that there were 4 waiting staff and 5 kitchen staff, it took over 40 minutes for my meal to arrive. In the meantime, I was sitting with an empty glass with waiting staff walking past and turning a blind eye. When it finally arrived, the meal was tasteless. The seafood seemed as though it had been boiled to within an inch of its life and the tomato sauce seemed like it was straight out of a can (with no added herbs or spices). The spagetti was undercooked and quite frankly, with every mouthful I felt disheartened. Needless to say, I left more than half of the meal in my bowl. The previous review talked about a grumpy man behind the bar and I totally agree. When I went to pay, he couldn't even crack a smile, let alone ask me how my meal was. I feel I would have been better off saving myself $35 and going to Subway for a much tastier meal!

The food here is fantastic. How ever the grumpy man behind the bar didn't make us leave feeling like we would like to return no matter how good the food was!
