A friend recommended the place to me a year ago. Since then I am somewhat of a regular. Excellent value for money, great food and the staff / service are good.

Went to La Porchetta while holidaying in Auckland in January 2013. Great food - fabulous pasta and pizza. We all loved it - the kids chose it and we are so pleased they did. Service was very good as well. They couldn't supply one of the desserts one of our children ordered because a freezer broke down so his replacement was on the house. You can't do better than that. Would certainly go back again and again. In fact our kids want us to open one in Palmerston North!!

I am an Asian and love this place. back then in 2003 when I work @City almost eat there once a week. The pizza and pasta are prefect, just sometime the place a bit hot in summer...now working @ city will go there again.

Good and yummy food, plus nice and friendly staff, but the restaurant doesn't have parking available for customers.
Parking your car on the street is the only option!

Food is lovely, the place is amazing.. my personal favorite is the chinitto.. Thats the best drink ever! :D

Always really busy but not as good as the Henderson or Parnell branches. Still good pizza for very cheap prices.

A great place for a tasty CHEAP pizza or pasta. If you're looking for an economical Italian night out, La Porchetta is your best bet. The service is also pretty fast so it works well as a pre-movie dinner. The only reason it falls down the star rankings for me is the music which seems to fall into the dance heavy beat category every time I've been there, not my favourite digestion music.

La Porchetta is a fantastic restaurant. Very reasonably priced, quick service and the food is exceptional!! I have probably dined here around 10 times.
It does get busy after 6.00 on Fridays and Saturdays and I have had to wait for 15 minutes for a table. I have always had a good dining experience at La Porchetta. Definitely will go back :)
