I took my family here for a fantastic meal. It is quality food at affordable prices. The staff were friendly and efficient and the owner even visited our table to check that we were happy with our meals.

Average food, was cheap though so good if you are looking for a big cheap feed.

Coming from overseas and having a very fussy taste when it comes to pastas and pizzas, the pizzas we find easily around Auckland aren't really that tasty [talk about Domino's and Pizza Hut,ew].
La Porchetta manages to bring delicious pizzas, with a taste from a good pizza and sometimes with a small kiwi touch to it. Totally recommend the Focaccias at La Porcetta, a nice treat that just bursts with flavor. Yum Yum.

Good, cheap food. Flavourful pizza sauce (margherita or the ham and cheese calzone are favourites), lots of stringy mozzerella cheese. Great value for money, and loads of menu options.

La Porchetta in Henderson is a very welcoming place to dine in. Great restaurant spacious and sharp. The menu was interesting and there was no shortage of meal choices. There Pizzas and pasta are delicious. If want to take your family out for a affordable meal then La Porchetta will not let you down. Our family arrived at 11.20am on a Sunday and the restaurant was filled within the hour.

We came for lunch here with my nephew, three cousins, my sister and I to catch up on our nephews overseas trip for his 21st. We all ordered meals ranging from the steak, garlic break, fries, pasta, pizza's, chicken etc - so a good mix of everything. The food was delicious, and the portions not too bad (although I think that Hobson Street have bigger portions). The only thing lacking was the service. Our waiter kept asking if everything is okay, have we finished our meals. Is there anything else I can help with? She made us feel welcome when we walked through the doors to the time we ordered our food. After we finished our meals, she kept coming over to our table, asking "is there anything else I can help with?" "would you like the bill?" and she did this too often for our liking. It made us feel uncomfortable that we ended up leaving and headed to our local mall for coffee and dessert.

We went in a group of four and I was the lucky one with the only nice pizza. I had ordered one of the gourmet pizzas, which turned out to be really yummy- however, all the other pizzas were totally flavour-less, despite being overloaded with toppings.. In terms of service- they got our entrees wrong and it took them three tries to get it right. In terms of atmosphere- it was super packed and extremely noisy, we had to yell to talk to each other. I am not in a hurry to go back, but if I ever do, I'll make sure to order the gourmet pizza.
